  • Handful of store bought Meringues per person crush leaving some in larger pieces

  • Blueberries a small handful per person (1 punnet is enough for 4 people)
  • Prepared Sweetened Whipped Cream or Cool Whip

Instructions

  • In a parfait glass, start by layering with the crushed Meringues followed by Cream and then a mixture of Fruit. Squeezing a couple of Strawberries over the cream to make a little syrup as you go. Continue layering finishing with Cream and crushed Meringues.

Notes

If you want to make your own whipped cream, simply get out the mixer, a cold bowl pour in 1 cup of whipping cream and start mixing until soft peaks start to form, to sweeten it, slowly add in 2 oz of sugar and continue to mix until stiff peaks form. Do not over mix or you will end up with sweet butter. Makes enough cream for 4 individual parfaits. You can make this with any fruit you like, try using what's in season for the best flavor. For autumn or winter, you could even try canned pears sprinkled with nuts and drizzled with cream.
