Foolproof Fudge

This Foolproof Fudge is a slightly adapted recipe from Eagle Brand. It's so easy to make and turns out brilliant every time!

Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 14 oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cup Pecans chopped (optional)

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8 or 9x9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt together the Chocolate and Sweetened Condensed Milk until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and add in the Vanilla extract and gently stir in chopped Pecans.
  4. Carefully pour out into the parchment lined baking pan. Smooth and swirl with a rubber spatula. (It will start to firm up fairly quick).
  5. Leave to cool for about 2 hours.
  6. Once firm, cut into squares then sit back and indulge!
  7. Makes about 18 - 20 1-inch squares.

Notes

You can try using Milk Chocolate Chips and/or White Chocolate Chips as well to vary your flavors. Pecans are optional, but you can also try any nut that you prefer.
