A modern classic drink, The Old Cuban cocktail recipe, a fancy upgrade from the popular Mojito.

- 1 ½ oz rum
- ¾ oz lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1 oz simple syrup
- Mint leaves 6 - 8, plus extra for garnish
- Angostura bitters a couple of dashes
- 2 oz Prosecco or Champagne
- Lime slices or wedges to garnish
In a mixing glass or shaker, muddle the lime juice, syrup, and mint.
Add in the rum, bitters, and the ice. Shake.
Strain into a (coupe) glass, and top off with the Prosecco or Champagne.
Garnish with mint leaves and lime slices, if desired.
