It’s really really TASTY!
Ambrosia Salad!
Oh yes, this stuff is so good! We have this every year for both Thanksgiving and Christmas and throughout the year, YEAH for me!
My brother and I would ask for Ambrosia all the time, it’s one of those 😉
When I was old enough to start cooking, Ambrosia was one of the first dishes I was allowed to make. So easy to throw together for any occasion.
If you prefer you could use fresh Mandarin or Clementine oranges, but make sure you remove any seeds and the white pith or it will add a slight bitter taste to the Ambrosia. Also if you prefer you could substitute Creme Fraiche for the Sour Cream, but I find it taste best when you do use the Sour Cream. I have also tried it with Greek Yogurt BUT again for the best blend of flavors stick with using Sour Cream!
OH and please use the mini Marshmallows…I used the big ones once and cut them into bite size pieces before and it worked fine, but was one STICKY MESS, lol.
Whether you serve it as a side for your Holiday meal or as a simple dessert, remember it works brilliant during the spring and summertime as well!
