A lovely little treat to enjoy …
Raspberries with Almond Cream Pastries
This is more of a recipe hack, shortcut, easy and quick to prepare kind of dessert. I love berries and I adore raspberries! They are so tasty and have just the right amount of burst of tart and sweet flavors all at one time. Raspberries are also known to pair well with almonds. Add in some freshly whipped cream and wowza, I’m hooked!
So this almond cream is what I’m talkin’ all about. Freshly whipped cream pimped up with a bit of almond flavor and beautifully swirled with more raspberries. Completely amazing and ridiculously easy to make.
These days it seems that being busy is a permanent way of life, therefore being able to enjoy some of those much loved treats can seem out of reach. Well, as much as freshly baked croissants are every bit worth the effort, might I suggest finding a local bakery to do the baking for you. All you would need to do is pick them up. In fact, buy a small boat load of the much loved pastry, store them in freezer bags and freeze your stash for those days you really need a bit of an indulgence.
Now that you’ve got this dessert hack all sorted, you now know what to make for that next bridal or baby shower, the ladies luncheon and your next dinner party …. oh wait, even better, how about that next time you get to curl up with a classic movie or engaging book, a large coffee and a sweet treat? Raspberries with Almond Cream Pastries will be there for you every step of the way. Yes indeed, they make for a perfectly wonderful day.
